Each time the Golden Temple was rebuilt. The Golden Temple, destroyed in the 17th century, was built by King Sardar Jassa Sing. Afghan raiders had completely demolished the gurdwara in the 19th century. Then it was rebuilt by Maharaja Ranjit Sing. And the walls of the spring outside the Golden Temple were decorated with gold lining. The Golden Temple was razed to victory. The Golden Temple has been rebuilt many times. This service is done selflessly. Arrangements for food and drink at the langar are arranged by the Shiromani Gurdwara Committee. Here the servicemen are ready all the time. People coming to the Golden Temple contribute their service. Sri Guru Ramdas Sarai is located in the Parasir of the Gurdwara. The pilgrims who came to the Golden Temple are arranged to stay here. This building was built in 1784. The inn also has 18 large holes with 228 rooms. One gets mattresses and blankets to rest here. Tourists can stay here for two to three days.

The Golden Temple is situated in the middle of the lake. This lake is a man-made reservoir. This lake was connected by a bridge with one edge to the other. Devotees take a deep bath in this lake. After taking bath, revolve around the corridor of the Golden Temple. With this, they enter the Golden Temple after seeing the Akal Takht.
